Singapore | July 2025

On 23 July, HIPPA organised a roundtable discussion with government and non-government stakeholders on a potential future Indo-Pacific hybrid threats coordination platform. The roundtable took place in the margins of the ADMM Digital Defence Symposium and involved representatives from Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, The Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. DDS is an initiative of Singapore and the ADMM Cybersecurity and Information Centre of Excellence (ACICE).

Vanuatu | July 2025

From 8-9 July, HIPPA delivered a workshop on hybrid threats at the Pacific Fusion Centre (PFC) in Port Vila, Vanuatu. Together with resident open-source intelligence analysts, the group discussed the regional threat landscape and shared lessons and practices about skills, tools and means required to provide policy- and decision-makers with evidence-based strategic assessments. PFC is an Australian initiative but endorsed by the Pacific Islands Forum.

Malaysia | June 2025

The Asia-Pacific Roundtable (APR), organised by the Malaysian Institute for Strategic and International Studies, is a premier Track II forum to discuss regional security issues. The HIPPA team joined the conference and participated in break-out roundtable sessions. APR is supported by the EU, among other international partners.
